I started my practice while I was on paternity leave. A friend needed some help in a dispute with DCF, and I was able to win almost $30,000 for her. Since then I've handled a wide variety of cases.
I have a diverse general practice. I have an active real estate practice. That includes real estate closings, home purchases, real estate litigation, land use and zoning appeals, and other related matters. I advise landlords on lease and tenant issues, and handle the matters when these issues turn to into law suits.
I also have an active civil and criminal litigation practice. I defend clients on charges ranging from minor traffic violations to serious felonies.
Before hanging out my shingle, I worked in the State’s Attorneys office in Burlington. I worked on a variety of criminal matters, including DUIs, drug possession cases, and an appeal to the Vermont Supreme Court.
When not fighting for my clients, I spend time in the great outdoors with my wife, toddler, and menagerie of pets.
